Got through. Still on the alternate list. 🙁 I am so frustrated! I feel like this limbo will never end... 🙁

I was told they did take a few people off of the list this "round" and their class is currently full.

I wouldn't take this as being bad news, though, HH. This is the last of their call-in dates, so it's not surprising that their class is full. We should expect it to be full today, and to open up after May 15.

I'm glad this the last call in date. I do want to go to Wayne, but I'm pretty sick of their policy to make us call in every month. good luck to everyone else.

My premed advisor had some sort of book with that information in it. He said normally 40-50 people get off the waitlist at wayne. if you read the posts from last year, last year was atypical, with practically nobody getting off the waitlist.

I have no idea how many they put on the alternate list but I could imagine anywhere from 200-600.

soooo what happens now? i interviewed in freakin December and have been on the waitlist for an excruciating 4 months! i sent them a letter of intent/interest stating my desire to go to WSU. can i realistically expect to get accepted anytime soon?

I guess it's just a waiting game at this stage. I wish that I knew where I was on the waitlist, but I guess they just don't give out that kind of information. I've heard from people who applied last year that they really don't actually inform people of getting off the waitlist until June 1. I hope we hear soon- I'm waitlisted too!

Anyone know how Wayne fills their waitlist? Are OOS withdrawals filled with waitlisted OOS people or is it just one lengthy waitlist?

Anyone know when there has been historical waitlist movement, and whether or not Wayne overbooks their class from the get-go? Meaning, do we have to wait for enough people to drop, or have the current withdrawals already started what will inevitably lead to some alternate list movement?
