OHSU vs Penn State

Part of me is interested in living in a different part of the country, part of me thinks it would be easiest to study in an environment I'm familiar in. Both are P/F and seem to have a great student culture. Wondering if y'all have any extra insight, especially when it comes to outcomes.

OHSU
Pros

• In-state tuition
• Closer to established friends, semi-close to family
• Pretty good reputation
• I work at the school so I'm familiar with some parts of the school

Cons

• Higher COL
• Commuting may be challenging (especially around campus)
• I would like to move out of state eventually and I'm not sure if going to OHSU would limit my chances

Penn State
Pros

• Humanities and systems-focused curriculum seems very refreshing and in-line with my interests
• Students seemed very relaxed and chill, little to no stress
• Fantastic match list, especially for competitive specialties
• More geographic diversity in student body

Cons

• Somewhat rural - harder to travel home
• Not familiar with PA weather patterns
• Expenses of moving across the country
• More expensive ($10k more annually)

I believe it’s Oregon Health & Sciences University. But it still is the better option.
