I ask this question because I missed much more on the 8 CBT than I did with the 7 but got the same score... I was wondering what gives. And did anyone else feel the 8 was much harder than the 7? If anyone can rank these tests I would sure appreciate it.

I cant talk about 7, but I took 8, and then I took 4...and 4 was beastly hard, compared to 8, especially the verbal...

but i think the general rule of thumb at SDN is that 8, 9, 10 are more like the real exam. You proally will get steady scores no matter which test you take, cuz thats how the test is engineered (the curve is built in). But, the material covered, the way it's asked, and how many you get right are more correctly represented in 8, 9, 10.

Thats how i think of it...but once again, scores dont matter at this point...just get as much practice as possible. only one score matters and lets hope it boosts our ego X 10. 🙄

I got the lowest score on 8 than I did on all the other AAMC practice, and I took all 3-10. When I looked at the difficulty breakdown, it had more moderate to hard than easy questions in comparison to the others, especially in Bio.

Well, compared to 7, 8 = MONSTER...

Jesluss....

I know it was harder because like I said I missed so much more and got same score...

I have not taken 8 yet but I did think that 4 was pretty tough. 4 was my lowest practice score so far.

My cumulative AAMC CBT scores, in order of best to worst:
(7 = 6) > 3 > 8 > 4 > 5

All the > signs represent a difference of one point.
ex) same score on 7 and 6, one point less on 3, another less on 8, etc etc

I'll take 9 tomorrow and 10 Tuesday.

what other tests have you taken, jimmy? any of the princeton review ones? those were intimidating

wow is 4 really supposed to be the hardest? i hope so, since that was my worst score on the practice tests 🙁

LOL, I don't understand you're above system... but I am going to do 9 and 10 just like you are... 9 tommorrow and 10 on tuesday...

How does one deal with the time and verbal it seems Freaking impossible... what is wrong with those people...

Sorry I made it more clear 🙂.

I'm worrying about burning out, so I'll probably do 10 Monday or not at all.

I wish I had started studying earlier 🙄.

I got second lowest on 8...for some reason the verbal on 3 destroyed me....

My scores were as follows:
3:24 1st
4:28 4th
5:27 5th
6:29 7th
7:26 3rd
8:23 2nd
9:26 6th
10(8th, just took it): 27

So, fairly consistent.
