Hey Guys,
I have a problem with one of the LORs I submitted to ERAS. It was difficult for me to procure three new LORs because I have only really worked closely with two Attendings/Consultants since graduation. As a result I submitted an old LOR (along with two new ones) that I had gotten after I finished Med School from one of my lecturers (also an Attending). The letter gives a description of my clinical attributes, discipline, bed-side manner. However, it recommends me for registration with the Medical Board of my country.
I got an email from ERAS asking me if I want to scan this LOR or not because of this issue.
Is it a problem that the letter is not addressed to the "Program Director"? I thought the important thing was that it gave a good description of my clinical skill.
What should I do?
