I am debating on this Anatomy book (Martini). It was the required book for my anatomy class at a jr college. Its really nice, but its also heavy and oddly shaped.
I will keep my stryer's biochem book.
I recommend you sell your Martini for like $80 and buy the 3rd addition instead for about $10. They are virtually the same only the page numbers are different. I did that. Can't say that I love the book, but it's got a lot of good pictures.ShawnOne said:I think I will ditch the Campbell Bio, O-chem, G-chem, and physics books. Griffen, thanks for the reply. I put my Campbell and a few others on ebay. Campbell 6th Ed is actually worth $80-90 in good condition. 🙂
speter, Martini is the only book I've held onto. I used it in undergrad and thought it was okay. Do you think it is suffecient for d-school? Or should I sell it and buy Netters? Moores? Greys? I ask these questions because USC has no assigned books. Stuents pretty much use whatever they want.
Well I haven't taken anatomy in D-school yet but I don't think Martini is sufficident for D-school. I mean the writting there is a piece of crap. I personatlly have Moore's and it's great. I can really see myself learning from it. But don't buy any more books until your D-school requires you.ShawnOne said:wise146, actually some of my books are latest edition and worth some $$.

Color me confused as well. I could remotely see one going back over Lodish, for example, but Campbell? Ah well, to each their own, I guess -- if it helps you, do it!Dr.SpongeBobDDS said:What the... ??? 😕
