So what's up UCLA's butt? I'm sure they're not the only UC that gets an ample amount of applications yet they seem to be the only ones way behind. With such a big name you would assume they could foster some money to oil the wheel over at the admissions office.

Last I called, some admissions lady was pretty nasty; she almost yelled at me telling me they have 5,000 applications to look through. **** I felt like bursting her bubble and telling her that there are some schools (not UCs) that have 8,500 applications yet they're getting back to us faster.

And what's up with the recent mass-mailing rejections many of you guys are expecting?! I've noticed that some of you in line for the letter have some very impressive interviews. What's the deal here? Has UCLA's head gotten too big?

i agree with watcha. maybe jalbrekt needs to contribute a little more. i will be getting a rejection letter from UCLA, but i don't care. so does that make three or was i already included in the 2 since i already admitted it.

?????? This thread got way off track. I guess I didn't say what I meant to say in a way that people would understand. On the Accepted, Waitlisted, Rejected thread, only two people have posted that they got rejected from UCLA. But there are like 10 people who bitch all the time about how they got rejected. How come those ten havn't posted on those threads?? That was the point about my post.
I'm so lost to what Whatcha and Rajneel1 are talking about. I need to contribute more? I thin kthere was some massive miscommunication. Luckily, I havn't been rejected from UCLA, yet. Of course, I did just turn in my secondary and letters of rec last week.

I've tried to blot out all memories of that place. My third interviewer told me I was his best interview of the day and I'd be successfull at whatever I do. But I think I'm the only person so far who has got rejected post interview from there. Oh well. I don't mind to muc. Let's see, UC DAVis.....hmmmm...I'm sorry to say I can't remember you off the top of my head. I'm sure we were sitting in the airport together....ummmm...clueless. IM me and we'll reminise more.

That's Ok. Luckily in med school, the only things I would have to spell is A, B, C, D, E, F, and probably G. Lately I've been working on filling in the bubbles in those scantrons. I should be fine.

don't some classes require essays or papers of some sort. i think they do. otherwise that whole medical library gets ignored by all the med students...and they want to train you to research once out of school. so i dont' think your spelling days are over.
