Hi All,

I just wanted to make a request for all OOSers who intend to withdraw from WSU, to please withdraw before April 22nd! The reason I say this is because whether or not I get in on April 22nd will dictate whether I begin to seriously consider my other options (ie seek 1-yr fulltime employment vs. carib etc.)!! So please - if you intend to withdraw from WSU.. please do so!! This is the only school I can realistically expect an acceptance for!! Please help!

Regards,

medhearter

Yes everyone considering WSU, please plan around medhearter's needs. After all, the medical universe revolves around this poster!!

lol alright guys.

so the world does not revolve around me...

i'm just saying, if withdrawing is on your mind, to please do so in a timely manner!

warm regards,

me the part of the universe, not necessarily centre.

You need to rephrase your request...

This has been debated ad nauseum - many factors go into these decisions, especially when considering financial aid. Also, some second look weekends aren't until late April, and I would be slow to decide on a school without going to it personally.

Yes, some people hold acceptances right up until the deadline. They aren't doing it to be mean, or to hurt others (aren't we going into medicine?) - but they are closely evaluating their options. Where you go to medical school is an enormous decision that shouldn't be made hastily. Sorry!

EDIT: 600 posts... didn't I just hit 500 the other day? wow.
