Couldnt even watch the Cubs on opening day - blacked out in rangers territory....ugh

Dude, get mlb.tv. I hate promoting people watching cubs games, but you’ve got to be crazy not to get it. It’s only $92 and it’s perfect if you live out of state from your team. I moved out of state from my team and it’s clutch. You just stream it through your appletv or smart tv and it blocks commercials. You get all of your teams games with local commentators. No games are blacked out except the weird Facebook livestream games nonsense.

No, I’m not paid by mlb.tv, I just really think it’s a great buy for the the money.

Thats what Im saying. I have MLB extra innings as well as mlbtv. But texas rangers games are blacked out for me, archaic regional blackout BS. Or maybe it was a national ESPN game or something.

Ahhh. It’s incredible how cheap mlb.tv considering what you get for it. I love having the local announcers. I hate it when I have to listen to Arod mispronounce the names of the players on my teams bench.

Just as a sidebar, there is a Detroit Red Wings player named Andreas Athanasiou. The color man on the broadcast last night, Rob Ray (you could remember him from his ESPN commercial, where he beats up a generic delivery guy, like UPS or FedEx, for not having his ID), just glided over his name, and the play by play caller, Rick Jeanneret, did NOT let him get away with it!
