Hey guys I wanted to post this on one of the previous TMDSAS threads, but it was closed. Does anyone have any samples topics of what is appropriate for the optional essays. I am thinking about responding to the second prompt:

Please describe any personal characteristics and/or important challenging experiences you have had that will contribute to the diversity of or provide educational benefits to the student body.

I wasn't sure what would be considered as a "challenging experience" for the application.

I will show you my "challenging experiences" if you show me yours. I mean.. if you're interested.

Focus on the personal characteristics then. It's a "and/or" question, that doesn't mean you have to do both (really, optional this time REALLY does mean optional!)
