amazing science score.

have you decided on a school yet?

dragon1761 · Apr 23, 2005

either ICO or NOVA. Still havent really decided.

cpw · Apr 24, 2005

I think it's odd we've made it this far with this many people and no one's mentioned UMSL...

nobodyknows · Apr 24, 2005

Add me to the list for SCCO!!

pre-opt · Apr 24, 2005

I had posted on here about a month ago that I got into UMSL. Someone copied the list and dropped me off the end (page 11). I noticed it, but wasn't going to say anything. As of a month ago, UMSL basically had their entire class full (44). I know that they are still interviewing for alternate spots...or at least they were about a week ago.

So far I'm in at ICO, waiting on NECO for a response, and been told my SCCO that I'm about 45 on a alternate list of 100. :scared:

Any opinions between ICO and NECO? SCCO is my #1 choice, but it's not looking too realistic anymore. Anybody else have opinions about being 45 on a wailist of 100?

So far I'm in at ICO, waiting on NECO for a response, and been told my SCCO that I'm about 45 on a alternate list of 100.

Any opinions between ICO and NECO? SCCO is my #1 choice, but it's not looking too realistic anymore. Anybody else have opinions about being 45 on a wailist of 100?

When I called, they told me I am also #45 on the waitlist of 100. Basically, there are 40 people who interviewed late but met the eligibility criteria for admissions, and they are ahead of us. So whenever you call, they'll tell you that you're roughly #45. Either half of the current class has to withdraw their acceptances OR the 40 some people ahead of you have to decline their acceptances once they are offered a seat.

It does look pretty grim though...considering their class size is under 100...

As for me, I'm heading to SUNY...I chose it over ICO primarily based on the cost...

FIRST: Congratulations to every single one of you listed above. As a practicing OD I do remember the day I got my letter (SCO 86). You are a doctor now. Getting in was difficult, if you did that, you will get through....just keep up each day. You have chosen a wonderful profession. Now, for those of you that haven't chosen which school to attend, please choose to open those slots for waiting students. My bother-in-law is one of those. So pick ASAP, please.......just kidding, but it would help. 🙂
