my final is tomorrow at 730 am but i feel like i know it? idk, it just seems like its not something you can "study" for. im really confident, basically all weve covered is

alkene reactions
alkyne reactions
elimination/substitution
alcohol elimination
radical chemistry

and syntheses applying all of the concepts. i just feel like im not sure what to study other than the summary of reactions at the end of each chapter. i hope i dont get surprised tomorrow lol but i dont see how

If you are taking the ACS final, it's important to review. There is an ACS study guide that goes over what they look for and are likely to include. National average is less than 60% on the exam so don't underestimate the difficulty of the exam. Good luck.

Well they might ask you to draw out a mechanism for a reaction that you haven't seen yet but uses the same principles as some you've seen in class so you could brush up on that. Know what conditions favor sn2 vs sn1 vs e1 vs e2. Be good at arrow pushing. Remember what reactants you need for a given reaction and relevant conditions like temperature or necessary solvents, etc.

Study your old tests if you have them. Most problems on both of my organic finals were the same with an extra group that doesn't even do anything tacked on to the reactant.
