Hello,

Does anyone know a site where you can organize the interviews you receive and schedule with pros/cons etc? I know there is one out there but can't find it anymore.

Thanks.

depends on what you're applying in

for gen surg, you can use

residencyadvisor.info

It's got an awesome calendar/scheduling feature and historical data about the programs

It was more like a general website for any residency interview. But if there is one specific to Rads that would be great.

Are you thinking of interviewseason.com? It's a new website this year but so far I've found it pretty helpful in arranging my interviews, flights and hotels. I haven't gone on any interviews (next week is my first) but there is a component for ranking programs as well that I imagine will be useful. It's also has some general information about interviewing etc, that I have found very helpful and unbiased. Probably the most effective tool I have seen for interviewing thus far.

In your opinion, worth the $50?

I was skeptical too and thought $50 sounded like a lot for a website and it is. But, this process is going to cost $$$ regardless. For example I just purchased a $500 tri-city flight. I imagine my interview season will approach if not surpass 5K, so when I compare $50 and potentially less of a headache to that, it sounds reasonable. I think esp. if you are applying to lots of programs (I'm applying to 70 total cause I'm in a specialty with a prelim year) it's definitely worth it b/c all of the work is done for you (all the programs are there, their websites are linked, and the PD's contact inform is there, etc). Also the information is completely validated, so all the information is correct (unlike outdated websites, etc) which I think is really where the value is. Also if you are couples matching I think the website would be invaluable. If you are applying to just a couple places, I agree that the information can probably be kept in a spreadsheet or google calender. The interview season is still really early and I've already found it useful so I can imagine it just becoming more useful as it goes on. The sooner you get it the better cause if you put your info in from the beginning it will be more helpful.

Also, I think they just made it so you can get your $50 after 4 weeks if you don't like it so I guess you can judge for yourself whether it's worth the $
