Ortho now 6 years?

I'm a med student at Hopkins, and the ortho residency here has been extended to six years because of the 80 hour work week. I'm wondering if this is happening at many places, and if anyone knows of other specialties in which the residency length is being increased. Thanks.

it is happening at other places too. SLU has extended and I am sure others will follow. Most places extending are adding a reasearch year, but it adds more guys to the call pool to help out with work hours as well.
