It does sound dumb. Why don't you look it up in an encyclopedia.guys i know it will sound dumb but i just wanna know whats the difference between allopathic and osteopathic? what do they mean? also what are MD and DO schools?
Prejudice against DOs because their schools' students have lower average GPAs/MCAT scores is not even in the same ballpark as racism.
Seconded. The accusation to those who advocate going to MD schools that they are racist does not make any sense at all.
Shame.
you clearly did not understand the post
the two are similar in that they both make ridiculous claims based on superficial differences
don't jump to conclusions so quickly
A DO is like an MD who has additional training in OMM (a muskuloskeletal treatment modality, think chiropractor).
This statement will piss people off too. OMM clearly is not chiropracty. Also, you will piss off the DOs who defend OMM if you equate it to chiropracty.
Can a DO become a cardiologist?
Yes, but DO's are required to do a witchcraft/raindance internship before they can go into a speciality track like cardiology. Aside from internship years, DO's will periodically be tested on their knowledge of pagan worship and vodoo chantings.
NO Effin Bump! There is multiple threads about this, just look down at the bottom of this page and take a look for yourself.Bump.
