Hey everyone, I was wondering if there are any others out there that applied for AOA programs in July? I applied about 5 days after it opened, and I haven't heard anything. Just wondering if others had heard back from programs, or if Ob might just be late? I have heard of people applying to other specialties that have multiple interviews, but have only heard of a few people in Ob getting them (minus interviews at the end of audition rotations). I'm hoping Ob/Gyn programs are just sending out invites later rather than the alternative which is that I'm just not going to hear anything at all...

They send them out later. Last year it was near the end of September. Same boat as you......it sucks to wait.

I also haven't heard anything and I applied on July 15. It's reassuring to hear we're all in the same boat 🙂

Although I think some people have gotten some invites in other specialties, I was told by multiple people that interview invites really didn't start rolling in until mid/late Sept into Oct.

So I think we have to keep at this waiting game awhile longer!

I called a few programs and they said they havn't even started looking. I have also heard rumors that multiple DO programs have had issues with downloading stuff from ERAS.

Man ERAS has been an issue all around this year huh. Hopefully they can get the bugs worked out. Just for anyone else following, I received an interview yesterday for Henry Ford in Wyandotte, MI. Hopefully the rest of the programs start giving them out soon as well!

Heard from Henry Ford Macomb today. Not sure if we wanted to do a whole thread like the acgme programs or something. But I thought I'd let you guys know things are slowly happening.
