Hey everyone,

I was offered an acceptance to OSU dual degree program, but also have an acceptance to KCU. I am instate for OSU. I guess I just need help deciding whether it is worth me waiting an extra year to start medical school to get the in state tuiton. I really loved KCU and their campus a lot more, this decision is a little bit more difficult than I was hoping it would be.

It's a degree in health administration and I am not sure it would actually benefit me in the future. Should I not really consider the tuition aspect of it?

They're both great schools. I don't think the tuition difference is significant at all. Pick the school you fit in best with. Did you like OSU?

I mean the difference in tuition 20K a year. I enjoyed it, but definitely not as much as KCU.

I mean you sound like you're pretty set on KCU... Not sure what the debate is here.

OSU is easily one of the top DO schools and they have a great facility for research and their professors are amazing. OSU also have their own teaching hospital, which is one of the only DO schools with their own hospital and of all the osteopathic schools that do have hospitals, OSU has the biggest. OSU is also building a brand new multi-level training facility that will be used as a real lift simulation building for ICU, ER, and research projects. It is going to have actual ambulance bays for real life traumas and all that good stuff. I think Tulsa is an amazing place to live and I also think it's hard to beat only paying $23k a year for medical school. The way the masters programs are set up is also a major plus. I don't think KCU's program is on the same level as OSU's in my personal opinion and based on what I have read in some review magazines. I also am not a fan of Kansas City, either, lol. I am a bit biased towards OSU, but peverything I have stated is pretty accurate and true. Do whatever makes you happiest.
