Are DO schools receptive of picking up out of state residents? Is there such a favor for in state residents? I'm just curious.

schools do like to take in state applicants cuz they get more funding or something, but there are def plenty of OOS people who get into school. I believe texas schools are extremely hard to get in if OOS. Some schools take alot of OOS some schools dont. I think there are stats around the web with #s of INS and OOS making up each class for diff schools.

This has been discussed rather extensively (and pretty much every year at least once or twice) sometimes by each individual school, sometimes en masse. Try a search for which schools interest you most. 🙂
