Pages 586-587 in FA why they wrote next to serous cystadenoma "most common ovarian neoplasm" on page 586 yet they wrote the same on serous cystadenocarcinoma on page 587? Anyone cares to explain this please? And what's the most common germinal ovarian tumor?

Those two are the most common benign and malignant ovarian neoplasms, respectively. They can also be bilateral (similar to lobular breast carcinoma this way).

Regardless, you'll never get a "which is the most common?" question.

Know the former has fallopian tube-like epithelium. The latter has psammoma bodies (as do meningioma, mesothelioma, papillary thyroid carcinoma; they like to compare those four).
