I've been a pediatrician in the USA for the past 7 years. My wife, who is British, has decided that she would like to once again live in the UK. I need some advice on how to go about getting a job in the UK. Is it better to look for the jobs myself or go through an agency? What about this PLAB test? Does it make a difference if I'm boarded in Pediatrics? What's up with the English test, considering I was born in the USA and have spoken English for the past 45 years? I'm looking for a Pediatric Consultant position in a teaching hospital. Thanks for your help in advance.
