Could u guys tell me the oxidation number of Ag in 2AgNO3 ?

I think O has -2 and since there are 3 it's -6
but i don't know the oxidation number of N and Ag.

N is 5, O is -2; so X + 5 + -6 = 0 ; X = +1 is Ag's oxidation number

N is 5? does that mean Group 5 is 3, Group 6 is 4, and group 7 is 5 in periodic table?

by the way, is it always 5?
becuz in KNO2, N is +3, not 5.

Are you forgetting that AgNO3 has a polyatomic ion of NO3 with a charge of -1. Therefore The charge of Ag is going to be +1.

Confirmed. That's how I would do it too.

Remember your oxidation rules in the correct orders.

O = -2 x 3 = -6
N = +5
therefore Ag has to equal +1 in order for the neutral compound to equal zero .
