I looked through several threads and there seems to be varying opinions as to how competitive acquiring a pain fellowship is for Anesthesiology residents. I am a bit concerned because it would be frustrating to find out years down the road that I cannot acquire a fellowship because the level of difficulty is equivalent to getting a Dermatology residency. Can any of you guys clarify this issue? I appreciate your input.
