By Dan Hnida ... anyone else read it?

For those that haven't, it chronicles his experiences as a doc at a CSH in Iraq in 2007 during the surge.
 
Read it. Enjoyed it. Seemed much more realistic and less "Military medicine is the absolute best frackin' thing since sliced bread! Oorah!" that signified the other notable milmed book out there, On Call in Hell. Having read both, I prefer Paradise General for it's honesty, sense of humor, and general irreverence compared to the other book.
