if you have some work experience in the us, then apply to the schools. part II is a good thing, but i feel that they weigh a lot on work experience and recommendation letters.

I took part II in January and performed well. I studied the 2005/2006 dental decks and the book Dental Secrets (by Stephanie Sonis I believe). I feel like the book helped more than the decks. For those who don't know about this book, I highly recommend it. It is written in a question and answer format. Personally, I can't say that studying was that beneficial. I found that most of the questions on the exam I either knew before studying or didn't have a clue. Good luck.
