heyperkeratosis is thickning of skin
callusus and corn
warts
eczema
lichen planus
acitinic keratosia
seborrhis keratosis
all these can cause keratosis

4)Tissue changes occuring around teeth no longer in function which 2 statements?
widening of perio ligament (pulp pathology or systemic pathology)
reduced trabeculation (due to lack of stimulation)
narrowing of the perio lligament (The loss of normal occlusal function leads to atrophic changes in the PDL, such as narrowing of the periodontal space, disorientation of collagen fibers, and vascular constriction (Amemiya et al., 1980; Kaneko et al., 2001))
cemental atrophy

2) Tooth was avulsed and gives false reading on EPT, what does it mean?
vasculature may be interupted
nerve was interupted
well since it's avulsed, everythin's interupted but a false reading on EPT after trauma doesn't mean a thing...

3)whats the difference b/w size of teeth that erupted and their successors?
molars are wider mesio-distally and anteriors are more facialy positioned

4)Currently the most used implants are? Root form?
endosseous root form

5)what kinda incision for a palatal tori ?
Y or double Y opposing each other

6) what can you change with staining? Hue, value , Chroma
Value will decrease

7) which race has the most caries? whites, blacks, Mexicans
No idea...I thought everyone had the same risk...maybe it's related to the kind of food consumption

8) Altered cast technique used for what?
accurate impression of ridge in RPD distal extension

9) brown staining is? rampant caries, chronic caries
chronic caries

10) if caries prone animals were fed cariogenic diets by stomach tubes, their caries activity would ? not change, would essentially stop
Will stop
