1- depends on the situation and when do you do the pulp test.
2- dont put Caoh whenever there is symptoms. such as RL or pain on percussion
3- percussion is the best. if the pdl is involved, the best test is percussion.

thought the best way to do determine differrence is to do thermal testing to see if pulp is involved... anyone else?

Kerrs syndrome: doesn't effect VDO, has flabby ridge. somebody told me that,posted same ques. in my previous post. pls let me this;
1 space analysis: lower incisor width=22mm, canine&PM at 75%= 21.6mm, computed amount arch available=63mm. Finding: a. severe crowding
b. mild crowding, c; space. ANS mild crowding how to get? ( asda k, ques. 124)

2 where should be discription of study sample:material & method, result, discussion.
3 how to split the impacted mandibular tooth wen viewed from occlusal: +, Y slope, split buccal to lingual till furcation.
pls let me know asap, i have exam soon.

another way beside thermal testing to distinguish a perio lesion is doing a lateral percussion test. ...a commona clinical finding of a perio problem is pain to lateral percussion on a tooth with a wide sulcular pocket.
