Skip dinner and go straight to dessert!!
I've never been so drunk as I was one night in Cork.....So I've heard. I want to go to Ireland. 😀
And for anyone who actually looks at it, use internet explorer (or a firefox IE tab emulator), because the image text tags are just as funny.
Or maybe I should use this as my avatar?
I got pizza. It was yummy.
Time to go play Army.😉
I broke down and ordered a pizza. No ice cream. I don't want to become huge.
Yes, it happens in real life. Normally if you tell them "Yes, now will you be quiet?" works beautifully to allow you to auscultate. If a pt repeatedly asks you if they are going to die while you are trying to listen to their heart/lungs, would you ask them to be quiet so you can listen? Just heard it happened in a simulator and didn't know if it happened in real life.

Haha. You should have done ice cream, no pizza.
I went out and got my slice of pizza 🙂 that way I don't eat too much.
And will definitely cause you to fail your OSCE!!!
Are you serious?I find the best interpersonal skills scores come when you answer the question "Well hell buddy, we're all gonna die."
Is that secret code for "World of Warcraft?" 😀
I wish. I have drill this weekend. Reservist. That's why I said "play."
Finally! My friggin cable was fixed and I can see all my channels again.
AT&T's DSL was also terrible!!!

The one service I actually loved, because it also had a decent price, was DirectTv. It's just hard to get when you live in an apartment building that doesn't allow anything to be hung up outside.
Legally they aren't allowed to not let you choose a satellite provider. However, you have to fight them about it, and unless you're going to live there for a very long time (and I know you, like a lot of us, are moving in around 5 months), it isn't worth it.
An interesting story: http://www.komotv.com/home/video/5001856.html?video=YHI&t=a
So, there I was, sitting on my back porch last night with my new MacBook Pro. I turned the brightness up as high as it would go.
Wow. I needed sunglasses. Damn, that screen is bright.
Oh yeah, it has a really, really cool lighted keyboard as well.
Not to mention its incredibly stable, attractive and multithreaded multitasking OS.
Nothing like a little Mac evangelism on a Saturday afternoon. 🙂
Take care,
Jeff
Although my Dell is just 1 yr old, I'm thinking of getting a nice macbook pro once I start residency next year. Although honestly, I think a large/nice hdtv will probably be what I end up getting instead (unless I end up in Cinci where I could probably afford to get both.)
I'm getting a 42 inch (minimum) 1080p true HDTV first. Then a MacBook Pro, since I have a G4 iBook now and I have the benefits of the solid Mac OS X now. Now that my gf is making Cinci a better option now, she's found 4 pharm schools in the area she can go to, Cinci has become more of a possibility, which means getting both sooner. We'll see, i've go to stare at my ROL for about another 1000 hours before I decide between Cinci and 3 other places.
I'm just excited to have money to waste again even if I'll be making less as a resident than when I worked for Cingular Wireless!
As I figured.

My disappointment for the day: I thought I was going to be roommateless for the weekend...then she just showed up. 🙁 I was thinking I was going to be able to study in my apt all weekend and get some quality studying done.
What the hell, dude. It's just money. Get both!
I love being helpful. 😀
Take care,
Jeff
