Which is really the only bright side to this whole game for me.

Seriously, when you've had to deal with Peyton Manning since he committed to UT, way back in 1993ish, you begin to hate the man. I've avoided any and all Super Bowl discussions these two weeks because I don't want to hear it anymore.
 
I'm rooting for the commercials...but that's just me.

Feeling better.

Steroids=good
Advair=good
Nebulizer treatment=good
Coughing stuff up that I had NO CLUE was in my lungs=great 🙂

Rainy and wet right now in Miami.. That should favor the Bears and the power running game!
 
It has been great here all week and yest and today it has been crappy
 
The party scene out here has been nuts.. i was out in Fort Lauderdale since I didnt want to deal with the SoBe BS.. the place was packed! unreal..

All that said Fetus is gettin old and partying ain't what it used to be.

Cool thing was I saw some old (old) old friends..
 
Current Chicago weather....

1 degree, with a windchill of -18, with a high of 4 degrees expected!
 
Was going to go to the gym, but it's a waste with the all the junk that will enter my body today. Plus, it's too cold to brave the walk.

Im feeling like ill drop 20lbs by summer.. thats all I want.. of course with medicine and trauma coming up it will be tough to take care of myself!

I put on some weight during interviewing b/c of traveling and all those pre interview dinner/beer nights. If I can drop about 15 pounds or so by the time residency starts, I'll be back to my "best shape" weight. My gf has gotten me to go the these cardio kickboxing classes, which are pretty killer. Doing that 3x's per week and getting back to lifting will be pretty good. I just fear what tonight will do to me. 😀

4th yr esp after interviews is cake.. enjoy! Work out residency is tough and being in shape is beneficial!

One of my buddies asked me about my long term plans along with Mrs Fetus' long term plans.. I said "we like where we are and there is no way we are going somewhere cold."

Im done with days of 20 degree weather.

The only thing I can think of is that his wife is a nurse. Perhaps she was able to talk some sense into him on this issue.

Rumor has it Apple has a big ad. I still remember watching the 1984 commercial as a high school sophomore and deciding I had to have a Mac.

I took out my first loan shortly thereafter and bought one of the first Macs. No hard drive. Sweet!

Word on the 'net is they'll either announce a peace treaty with Apple Corp resulting in offering the entire Beatles collection on iTunes or a phoneless iPod built on the iPhone chassy.

Oh, and about the HPV thing, I think that should be done just like all the other vaccinations. I even tried to get my mom to vaccinate my little sisters. That will take a lot more convincing though. She's way too conservative and doesn't like to think that the kids will do what they want even if they don't have the vaccine. One is special ed and doesn't understand it all, but even more the reason to vaccinate her. Too many wierdos in the world to be trusting that nothing will ever happen to her.

Yep.. well its ok. the city is rockin on. Lots of things have happened in the last 5 yrs so they should be happy for that. It was a shame..
 
It started out great. But bad Rexie showed up. As much as I respect the Colts, I don't think they completely beat the Bears...the Bears had so many opportunities but were never able to get anything going on offense, mainly b/c Rex can't run one. The defense did their job for the most part.
