OP, Pathoma has a Prohibited Use section in their Terms and Conditions that discusses the group thing more in detail.
Definitely understand from a cost perspective (just paid +$500 for this stupid step I exam). However, I'd rather see you eat the cost now than get into legal trouble and jepordize so much hard work 😀

Didn't see the OP, so guessing this is off-topic, but it is possible to do legitimate group buys with UWorld. About a hundred of my classmates and I saved ~$30 on Step 1 Qbank this way.

That's different. In that case you're buying from the original manufacturer. The OP was talking about doing a group buy off of an illegal seller.

just thought i'd get the word out there. the students here figured it out and brought it to the administration, and they did it. no reason any other school couldn't do it too, it's not like everyone isn't using it now anyway.

Do you guys know if its possible to buy Pathoma without being forced to use PayPal? It's a pain in the ass :S I can't have the textbook delivered to my courier address, and I DO NOT trust my country's post office. At all. Seriously, post offices in the 3rd world blow.
