How come there are 10 times more visits than posts on this thread? Shouldn't that be a 1:1 ratio? Come on now!

i have to make up for my slacking. i am on my trauma month, and this is the first down time i have gotten (at least down time enough to post).

I going to Florida in March. Family (wife and all my inlaws) is vacationing in Orlando. I've been given one day to going deep sea fishing. Any good suggestions? Gulf or Atlantic Coast? Keep in mind I'll have to drive to the boat from Orlando on the morning of my trip. I'm not picky about type of fish -- just want to forget about real life for a day.

Probably Cape Canaveral is best the bet, its East Coast side about an hour to 1.5 east on the "Beachline" or go up North on I-4 to New Symrna..if you go West havent heard to many that say its the best..but its all a matter of opinions and everyone has one...its just what I have heard hanging around the fire station in the past ( I have heard the guys talk about packages that could be done)....

Some of us are just afraid we might say something stupid and have to endure the wrath of others....plus its more fun to see what others bring to the forum and sometimes I have laughed so hard I know that cant think of anything else smart to add...or I think about it 5 minutes later... +pad+

Yep, trauma sucks time like a, well, it's Christmas Eve....I'd better leave that unsaid.

trauma call on xmas eve. anyone with any experience. i hope that it will be a slow one. anybody coming in will be questioned as to why the hell they aren't chilling with family. maybe dig a little deeper with the "finger in the bottom." 😱

I was scheduled for trauma call on Christmas eve. One of my fellow 'terns wanted to swap for New Year's eve. He doesn't have kids. I do. Easy decision.

Well it's 12am on the East Coast, so merry xmas everyone. I was supposed to do my weekly obligation of volunteer triage in the emergency department tonight, but I had a feeling it would not be too busy tonight so I am spending it with family.
