Yup, definitely just accosted a woman in my building for her opinion on which sweater to wear to coffee with a guy. Informal poll: (guys and gals alike)

1) Cute, classic turtleneck sweater (off-white, very preppy looking)
2) Slightly more trendy mock turtleneck sweater (bright pink - less preppy, more trendy)

Would need picture of the sweaters and would depend on the dude.. I cant imagine you could go wrong.. since you ARE socute.. 🙂

it is waaaaay too hot to wear a sweater right now! but, if she insists on wearing a sweater, then i'd say go for 2).

I went for the off-white 🙂. It went eh..ok... And SubstanceP - I'm not sure whereyou live, but it was pretty darn cold here tonight!

I was completely clueless. My wife had to damn near beat me over the head with a club to get me to ask her out. And I had most certainly noticed her before and was attracted. I was just clueless that she might have been interested.

Its amazing our race continues to propogate.

BKN your thoughts on the Challenger? I agree the Camaro is overrated.

Overrated? Damn, I think that car is cool. Of course, I'm so out of it that I found out about it on an SDN forum. How geeky is that?

Take care,
Jeff

To be fair, it doesnt have the american muscle car look, and the exterior is so-so...

Boy, now that's an understatement. That thing looks like something out of TRON.

Take care,

You know the best part of off-service months?

They confirm that emergency medicine is the place you belong.

Amen.

I was walking through the parking lot today when I ran into one of my med school buddies who is a surgery intern here. She looked terrible and was miserable. Being the kind, compassionate EM resident I am, I told her it wasn't my fault she picked a crappy specialty. Life in the ED was wonderful. I even offered to page her during my next shift to tell her all about it.

For some reason, she was less than thrilled.

Oh well..at least I chose wisely. 🙂

Take care,
Jeff

Thank god our women are smarter than we are! They picked us, but we are damn lucky to have them!

Welcome to city government DrMom..
You should see some the delays in finding bodies we encounter in rural locales. I helped bag and transport a lady who had been dead for 4 months out behind her house. Her family drove in from Colorado to "surprise her" and couldn't find her. Her 12 year old grandson tripped over one of her legs when he went out back to look for her.

Server problems.

Well, yes, DrMom 🙂. But I take it as a personal affront. A statement that I am not productive enough at my desk and need one of my only outlets taken away!!!

in a rural river
Nice.....several of the people I work with think the best way to dispose of a body would be to feed it through the crematorium at work, then dump the ashes into a river.

Oh, and by the way, I got a second job today. I had applied to be an Intermediate EMT for a small ambulance service and the owner called me back today..... 👍 I'm excited to get back into getting paid for sitting around.... :meanie:

yikes... finding bodies in rivers?! What sort of rotation are you on??

(oh, and... +pad+) 😀
