I actually ENJOYED my Robbins reading today. Well, a few of the pages that were assigned. Shock = interesting.

Also, is it TMI if I tell y'all that I have my bellybutton pierced? :wow: 😱

If it is then I absolutely DO NOT. 😛

oh...one more for a post pad...i should really try to go to sleep earlier. 😴 I didn't even get my nap in today 🙁

I need a +pad+ right now.

I'm currently trying to rip out the awful green board in my shower enclosure so I can then put up concrete board and new tile.

Needless to say, I must +pad+ to give my poor arms and shoulders a wee rest!

Yes yes yes, I'm quoting myself. But I have to say that I'm expending MUCH less effort after going to the hardware store and getting better tools.

I've even made a hole in the wall.

And found studs.

Cool-shmool!

I have lived here for a little over 3 years. My daughter was 3 when we moved. She is no more mature than anywhere else. Maturity is a function of parenting and the child. I grew up in a pretty small little town and was definately one of those 'way to mature kids'. My brother on the other hand, has mentally just passed 25 and he is only a year younger than me...

I have many friends who have kids and there is huge variation, just like everywhere else in the country. Its hard for people to shake thier biases. Kids don't grow up any faster in the city than they do anywhere else. Now, if you just don't want to raise a kid in NYC, that's another arguement.

I guess we have to agree to disagree. I know maturity it is a function of a lot of things but location is integral to this as well. My experience is with the 13-18 yr olds.
