I'm trying to figure out how far south I will have to go to get a replica of these hot dogs.

One of the small victories, here, though, is, with the burgeoning Mexican population, there's some good Mexican restaurants popping up.

That reminds me that I need to take a trip a few blocks down the road. One of the "little Mexico" areas that has a restaurant I heard was pretty good. Definitely like the authentic Mexican food.

iYo quiero uno burro con carne mas grande con todos pero sin crema! Si, guacamole y otros - sin crema! iMucho mucho!

I'm not a fish person either. Everyone looks at me weird when I say I want to go to Red Lobster. But I just like their biscuits and the chicken and potatoes there.

Example: guy with a college degree who makes decent money (not huge sums, but more than enough to live on), lives in a nice area (looking for permanent place there), and has a job he likes ALOT that has a ton of growth potential.

My recent conversations with said boy:
"So, my boss messed with the database (owned by said boss) and screwed up some stuff. I lost a ton of data and my bosses are mad that I hadn't backed it up. I'm getting blamed for screwing up when it's really my boss who screwed up the database. Well, yeah, except I hadn't backed it up, which happens to be in my JOB DESCRIPTION"

Boo-f-ing-hoo. You screwed up. Deal with it. Learn from it. It's YOUR fault - no one else's.

Then, last night:
"I can't find a place for less than $1000/month. It's so expensive to live around here, but anything less than that is a DUMP." (there is some truth to this statement...but he grew up around here, he knew what it would cost to live when he took the damn job.)

And he says that to ME, the med student, who lives off student loans and the occasional babysitting job, yet still manages to pay HER OWN MORTGAGE.
