So for all of you out there worrying about those long bouts of silence since submitting your secondaries, perhaps this will help allay your worries...

I just received an ii from Midwestern AZ after FIVE and a half months of being complete....mind you I never received a "wait list" notice either. Nothing but silence since August.

I've already got an acceptance to a school I'm happy to attend, but I'd definitely consider AZCOM. The issue now is, I'm traveling overseas for the next 6 months...I wont be back in the States until late June. Do you think the school would still interview in late June? Would it even be worth my time to go?

I don't know of any school that interviews into June, let alone late June. Most schools start in July/early August. If AZCOM is higher on your list than the school you were accepted by, then I'd consider postponing your trip for the interview, if not, then kindly decline the interview offer.

Overall though, probably not the best plan to go out of the country in the middle of the cycle if you are even considering attending more interviews, because ii's continue to be sent out into March.

Have you seen how expensive their tuition is? I forgot which schools you got into, but i remember they were similiar to the ones i had heard from...

Enjoy your trip and have a great time 🙂 Glad everything worked out for you this year, and thanks for your kind words via PM when we last chatted. I'm happy to say my cycle worked out well and is over!

Congrats on the interview invite! I am currently on hold there and a couple schools out here on the west. Hoping to get a few more invites closer to home these next few months!

Yeah, I left about 3 weeks ago...I guess I'll email them and ask them what's the latest they interview, but likely will have to decline.

Nice man, really happy to hear that. Are you headed to Touro NY if I'm not mistaken?

I'm going to Touro CA at the moment, which I'm very happy about...though, I have long considered AZCOM a place I'd consider going. I had not looked at tuition..I'll check into that now. Though, considering I'd have an ~18 hour flight back to attend the interview, I may just decline and let it go to someone else.

AZCOM is good if you don't mind the high tuition which is close to 60k per year and will likely be above 60k by our second year. However, I should mention the facility is among some of the best I've seen, not to mention the beautiful campus, cheap cost of living, and great board scores (among the top scoring schools).

AZCOM and CCOM have a sad priority of increasing their tuition by almost 5% every year, and its already almost 60k per year. It is definitely not worth it for such a large class especially.

Touro-CA is great man!
