I'm curious as to the multiple choice answers on the PCAT. Are they common sense multiple choice answers where it is easy to deduce logic and answer correctly, or are they the nasty type where every answer could work, and you just have to KNOW IT to get it right?

There is no clear cut answer to your question because how one sees the PCAT depends on their residual knowledge in the basic sciences and how well they are able to manage their time during the test. The test in itself is not difficult, but it requires you to tap into your memory whilst keeping an eye on your wtach. I guess if you really know your material generally math & science the answer choices are sensible, on the other hand if you don't then any answer would seem right.

For the Comprehension, most of the answers are straight from the passage with the exception of the inference or deduction questions.

The Verbal has 2 parts sentence completion (my favorite) and of course the big words like floccinaucinihilipilification 😱 (just kidding). SOme of the analogy questions can be answered easily if you recognize the root of the word.

Review and pray and you'll be fine. Good Luck

I remember being able to ignore 1-2 of the possible answers for many problems (esp. in Verbal) because they didn't make sense. So narrowing down your choices shouldn't be too much of a problem. I could rely on logic for some of the questions also.
