Hey,

I tried asking this in the Post-bacc forum but didn't get any feedback. I was just accepted into the PCOM Biomedical Science program. I am from Canada and don't know much about the Philadelphia area. I am just wondering if anyone is going to PCOM in August and is looking for a roomate. I am a quiet, mature person who doesn't party too much. Just wondering if anyone has any info about housing in Philly as well. With class starting in little over a month, I would like to be able to find somewhere to live soon. Any input would be great!!

Go to nucleus.pcom.edu and check out the Housing Forum. If you dont have a login, call PCOM and get one. Lots of people are looking for a roommate or someone to take over their Lease.

Good Luck!

The following web site allows you to view rentals, for sale, rooms, or sublets
from craigslist plotted on a google map. You can even get a hybrid map with
sattelite photos, but I am not sure how useful that would be.

choose "Philadelphia" in the city drop down box.

Now that I'm done with school we have a townhouse in the greater northeast (19154 zip) to sell or rent to the right person/people. The northeast is a little more of a drive, but the area is great especially for someone with a family (low crime, good schools). It's a 3 bed, 1 bath townhouse with a small fenced backyard, porch and driveway, about 1500 sq. ft, large addition family room with wood burning stove, and everything new/remodeled/updated throughout (new carpet, appliances -W/D and dishwasher included-, counter and flooring in the kitchen, etc...). Anyhow, I just wanted to put it out there in case any Drexel, Temple, or Penn professional students were looking for non-apartment life.
PM me if interested or have any questions. Good luck with your studies!
