Im deciding between living at home for NYIT and moving out for PCOM. Do the benefits offered by PCOM justify spending an additional 30k a year before interest for the cost of living? It's hard to justify spending an extra 120k/170k(post interest, according to a loan interest calculator)to attend PCOM for 4 years. This is not considering the tuition..in total it would be 60k + 30k every year before interest. There is no doubt in my mind that PCOM is overall the better school... but is it worth an extra 120k/170k after all is said and done? What does everyone else think? Am I looking at this with too much bias?
This would be via Grad Plus loans at 7.54%.
