pdf apps w/ pdf writer

ok, i'm using pdf writer but can't figure out how to insert essay questions. is it not possible unless they left a box for you to do it in? e.g. tulane's application.
does anyone know what i'm talking about?
i've ended up photocopying and manually cutting/pasting, but it doesn't look that great.

I do not know about PDF writer but if you use Adobe Acrobat you can create text boxes where you can type your info in.

It is Adobe Acrobat, I think it's called PDF writer or something. How do you create the text box?

oh my gosh! never mind. all of a sudden it's letting me type things in. I swear it wasn't letting me before!

one question... is there any way to change the font size?

Yeah! Press "F" on you keyboard. The form tool is going to show up. Just right click on the box you want to change and go properities. Go from there. You can change font, allignment and font size.
