Hi dental friends,
I'm a current D3 that's interested in Perio residency after graduating. I've shadowed several periodontists and have decided I love the specialty, so now I'm looking into the application process. Right now I'm going through the complete list of perio programs to lookup basics--tuition, stipend, location, GRE/ADAT/no tests, etc--but I would love some advice as to how I should begin this process, including what I should do regarding the GRE/ADAT (I'm looking at each program to see what they require, but I'm not sure if its generally a good idea to submit an exam for good measure, assuming the score is competitive).
Any advice at all would be very helpful!
