Hi. I am wondering what is the word limit (minimum) for the personal statement. I am on AACPMAS right now but i do not see the information. It just says 4500character max. (500words)

thanks.... I wrote about 1 paragraph... it's seems too little but I guess it doesn't matter LOL

It certainly does matter.

You should write clearly, and concisely, with special attention to spelling, grammar and punctuation.

If all you've done fits into one paragraph, you need to expand on your past experiences without lying, but by making your past interesting to the reader.

Personal statements need to introduce you and make the reader WANT to meet you and to get to know more about you.

There is no word limit this year? I can assure you there was one last year. Its on the AACPM site somewhere. I THINK it was 1500 words, but I could easily be wrong on that. Its more of a guess so look it up. Its there.

There is a limit of 4500 characters, but it seems like the OP was asking if there is a minimum number of words he needs to write.

Ha. I guess I should read more closely.
