I am applying this August to Podiatry School, what are a few things I could talk about, stress about in the personal statement.

Try to think about what you've seen or experienced that inspired you to go into this field and include them in the statement (unless it was a Porsche or something, in which case you should definitely leave that out).

do we have to specifically mention why we want to go to podiatry schools?
For my personal statement, I talked about my volunteer abroad experience in developing, where I shadowed doctors and taught grade school children english/ spanish education and disease prevention.
I said want to be an educator in this field.

Do you have any suggestion?

I neither know the current personal statement prompt nor remember mine, but whatever you write should address what it requests. What I do remember is that my statement demonstrated why I specifically wanted to pursue podiatric medicine (the content of my statement made it clear that podiatry was the field that most aligned with the career goals I had in mind). The fact that the statement is personal, however, means that the content of everybody's writing will vary, probably quite significantly, based on the individual's style, experiences, and goals. Having someone read over your statement to catch any necessary revisions or make content suggestions may also be a good idea (try to find someone qualified to do this, such as a physician, professor, or possibly an accepted student).
