I was wondering, should the personal statement be indented? also, should it be multiple paragraphs, or just one? I tried indenting, but kept going over the character limit and couldnt make anymore space without screwing up everything. is the fact that i couldnt indent, and make "new" paragraphs gonna look bad?

Hi,
If you're talking about the personal statement for the AACOMAS application, I had the same problem- but it only wouldn't indent my first paragraph. The rest of them I was able to indent at least two spaces. Try doing that, also I put a line between each paragraph (I had three total) just so that it would look more organized in case the indents didnt' go through when I sent my copy. Hope this helps! 🙂 Liz

Oh, also, to answer your question- if you have several paragraphs, you probably (i think) will want to distinguish them. if you're running out of room and are concerned about the paragraphs, try editing a little more - remember there will be plenty of room on the secondaries to elaborate! 🙂

What do other people think??

I agree with PalCareGrl.... Just to reemphasize, you'll have plenty of space in your secondaries to elaborate. Best wishes and good luck.
