Hi, guys...i just recently got introduced to this website..and i feel so lost.

So before anything happens, i'd like to see if i'm in a good hand so far. (i recently decided to be a pre-pharm).

I'm currently a 3rd year in UCSD, and I'm planning to graduate this year. I have no experiences or volunteer whatsoever....i'm hoping to start those and maybe even do lab technician starting next year after i graduate. My GPA is 3.7 to be exact, and i haven't taken PCATs yet either.

My goal all along is to graduate with as high gpa as i possibly can...then go back to my hometown and start volunteering/work. For work, i can possibly get some lab technician spot (IF it works out). Then, ima try to work on PCAT preparation. At the same time, I am planning to take few classes at C.C. (i've taken 4 Humanity classes already, which are school G.E.s)+ I have to take Anatomy/lab (our school doesn't offer it)+ Physiology class (I've taken mam. phys. in UCSD, but i heard that the lab is really hard at our school so prolly taking it in UCSD) + Microbiology/lab (I can't take this at school unless I stick around my 4th year).

Is this a good plan? Do you think if i keep it up with this, I'll have a shot?

Anyoneee who can comment is welcomeddd thankssssss

I would stick around your fourth year and knock out some of those pre-reqs at a university instead of a cc. Start studying for the PCAT now. I suggest working on the writing portion. Not to sound rude, but if your post is representative of your writing skills, you have a lot to work on.

I think that is a good game plan so far. If you plan on applying for 2011 matriculation then you may be on a tight schedule, especially if you are trying to obtain pharmacy experience. You don't have anything to lose really, since you have a degree and are planning on completing your pre-reqs. I'd say continue your plan and apply. Your number one focus should be the PCAT. You have an excellent GPA and there are plenty of students getting into pharmacy school without experience because they have stellar stats. Study for that PCAT and good luck!

Thanks for honest critiques guyssss
Good luck to you guys tooo 🙂
