Hi!
The physics portion of the MCAT is the only part of the med school application that really makes me nervous. I am a chemistry major with a math minor and I've had both semesters of calc based physics and got A's both semesters, but I honestly feel like I didn't learn anything.
Basically I feel like to prepare for the MCAT I would have to reteach myself all the physics concepts I'm going to need (the physics department at my college is notorious on campus for being horrible).
I've excelled in all of the other subjects that would be on the MCAT/feel like I have a very good understanding of them and with a thorough review and good preparation I would undoubtedly kill those portions of the test. I've gotten A's in all of my courses and other than physics I feel that my grades are a reflection of my understanding of the material.
But physics never came naturally for me. I'm really good at math/figuring out stuff on my own/teaching myself and so I feel like I could probably do it. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience/what people who have already taken the test think.
