Picking a major

No. Any major at all is fine. Find what you like and pursue it. You will enjoy your time in school much more if you are doing something you enjoy. Make sure to take Bio I&II, Chem I&II Organic Chem I&II and Physics I&II. Those are your prerequisites. Good luck!

^^i concur
Do something you enjoy! You tend to get better grades if you're more interested in the topic and as long as you get your pre-reqs done, it doesn't really matter.

Not at all! As long as you're passionate about it. That's quite a unique major as well.

If I want to go to medical school, is it a disadvantage to major in something more focused on animals, like Wildlife Bio or Animal Science?

it'll prly be better than a simple science major...

however, ill stray away from animal science since that seems like vet. school stuff

Go ahead and study whatever you want during your undergrad years. Admissions may even look kindly to someone who has taken a different major.

also, to add to Brain's list, a semester of Biochem and one or two semesters of Calculus should be added tour schedule as well. Maybe a psych for a little flavor.

No. Animal science is interesting and would not indicate a tendency toward veterinary school. It is fine.
