Sorry my question was already answered.

Just wondering what your thoughts are regarding the impact of your programs prestige on your career. I'm trying to put together my rank list and I'm struggling with some well known vs lesser known programs. Honestly some of the lesser known programs really impressed me but I don't want to do something that would put me at a disadvantage when I'm looking for a job in the future.

You have many things to consider. I finished a prestigious program some years ago.
It is (was?) considered the best clinical anes program in the US. Can anyone quess?
I think you should consider where you want to work. Stay regional with your selection. Sure you can go to Duke then practice in New Mexico, but it might facilitate things if you just go to albuquerque. Want to practice in Texas, do a residency in TX.
On the other hand doing a great program is a once in a lifetime opportunity. If you go to UCSF, of course it looks great, and you can probably go anywhere.

The most important factor is board certification. You must select your own residency. Go where you really want to go.
