hey all. i have one year of schooling left and trying to figure out what to do gpa and course wise. So, I wanted to boost my gpa a little. So, I will re-take one of my science courses I did not do well in. I was also going to re-take an elective I did not get a good grade in. Should I retake the elective or replace it with a needed science course in order to pursue professional school? I wish I could do both b/c I really want to retake the elective and receive a better a grade. But, I can only choose one.
I plan on taking a few more pre-req courses in summer and fall and that will be the same time of applying to professional school. So, should I retake the elective knowing I can just take that science course in summer/fall? Or does the elective really matter in the long run?
I want to do whats in my best interest for applying but at the same time it does bother me to have had taken a course, gotten an unfavorable grade and not show my attempt to retake it and do well.
Advice/Opinions appreciated. thank you.
