PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just can't seem to get over the hurdle of passing NBDE II. I have taken the exam FOUR TIMES. My scores have ranged from 71-74. I just can't seem to get a 75. Please help with any suggestions. I am at a total lost and do not know where to turn. I passed my regional licensing exam on the first try. However, I will have to retake it because I cannot seem to pass my boards. I would appreciate any guidance.🙁🙁🙁🙁

Hi doctay - I feel for you! I think you need to come up with a good gameplan and execute it. Do you have all the study materials that are needed? Do you have enough time to dedicate to make sure you pass? Quality/quantity time and the right materials can really impact you positively. You really need to understant the concepts well. It may be a good idea to hire a tutor for you to help guide you. In this website you'll find helpful hints as well as helpful ppl in your similar situation who want to help each other out. Good luck!!!

hey there. i feel for you as well. i am new to this. i have failed three times, my last attempt being in aug. i have no clue on what to do. i did everything thing that i could possibly think of to study. just know that we are all in the same boat, and i believe that everything happens for a reason. we WILL all pass at some point 🙂. hopefully for all of us it will be the next time we take the test. where are you all located? if we are near eachother maybe we can study together. g'luck.

I am sorry about this unfortunate incident, are you saying that you had to take your clinical portion again? Because I am in your boat but failed it twice already. At what point do they require you to take the WREB/NERB all over again and start from scratch?

Anyways my problem was that I just didn't have proper time to study and there were waaaaay too many distractions: i got married, things happened to my wife's family, MY family as well (LIFE). I am following a very demanding study program that was given to me by top colleagues who passed it with a high score which i reccomend that you look into:

1st Month: You will utilize 3 resources: Decks, Review Guide, and Practice Exams. The premice being is that they will expose you to aspects of the material in a different way, and you know how important it is for you to be exposed to a concept in many different ways.

***6-8 hrs / session

Go through the decks (every other day) eg: mon / wed / fri
Get a good review guide (every other day) eg: tues / thurs
- get Mosby's / Dental Boardbusters
Review notes of previous day at the start of each study session.
Simulate an exam on the weekend, noting flaws in your reasoning.

(you will make a 2 month schedule to dissect the infomation systematically, you may tailor make the program to meet your weakpoints [if your weak in pharm: you may put more sessions on pharm decks than endo for instance].

2nd Month:

Week 1: Review ALL notes taken from all the 1st month study sessions.
Week 2: Tune up stage: Review concepts that you found to be tough the
1st month.
Week 3/4: Simulate Exams: With a notepaper aside take an exam each day.
Fully analyze each question you got wrong or guessed and got
right.

***Extra Time***

You may notice you cannot get through the material you planned, make sure you set them aside for the weekend when your taking practice examinations.

Hope this helps!!! Please reply back to me as to my concerns in the first paragraph.
