Podiatry schools- how many are there?

Hi, how many podiatry schools are there total- only 6 or so? And is it true that Samuel Merritt College (in CA) requires a minimum of a 3.0gpa and a 3.0sgpa?

There are now 9 schools , and most schools prefer at least 3.0s, but there are exceptions.

Generally I don't mind people asking repeat questions, but in this case I need to be the prick and say it - seriously!? A simple search would have given you a much quicker answer than waiting for people to respond on here. Type 'podiatry school' into google and the first 2 links would have given you all the info you wanted. If not, http://myfuturedoctor.com has info about all the schools too.
