Yeah, they told everyone how necessary it was to get one, and it had to be one like the one they were selling because a massage table is too soft. They charge you 450 and now it's almost winter break and no tables in sight. I bought one for $110 on ebay, it was here 5 days later. I weigh about 200 lbs and I was hopping on it, and it seems sturdy enough to me. I don't plan on doing hvla on a 500 lb gorilla. They said that massage tables have too much padding, but mine is more stiff than the ones they have up in the labs. I thought it pretty interesting how they said you need to buy their table because others are too soft, then when they can't get them delivered on time, they tell students that it's no big deal, they can do OMM using a bed if they want to try it on relatives over thanksgiving break. Cushion thickness matters when its convenient for them; then later when they fail to deliver, a big 'ol soft mattress is fine. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I would assume the OMM clubs sell these tables as a fundraiser for the club, otherwise why not leave it to the student to find one on their own. The sales tactics I saw used this year made me me think about used car salesmen.
