How many of you will be attending med schools with post-bac programs this coming Fall if you do not get accepted this year?

I am considering the Post-Bac route. Does anyone have any suggestions on programs?

I have an engineering degree but still need to complete 1 year of Bio, Chem, and O-Chem before I can apply.

Thanks.

What I was referring to are 1 year graduate school programs where you take some med school courses with MS-1. i.e. Chicago Med, Hahnemann, BU, and Georgetown.

Check out the M.S. program in Biomedical Sciences at PCOM. Many students were accepted into the medical school after the first year and some received acceptances from several schools. It is a great program if you need to improve your stats and get a taste of what MS1 is like.

An excellent resource listing post-bacc programs is located at Syracuse University.

I have applied to VCU, MCP-Haneman, PCOM, and Barry University (not listed/podiatry school with post-bacc master's in biomedical science). I am waiting to hear from PCOM and MCP, but have been accepted at VCU (2 yr program) and Barry (1 yr program). I would be glad to provide some info on these programs. However, most info is on this site.
